Dear Residents, Families and Staff:
We are writing to provide you with an update of last week’s COVID-19 test results. During last week’s round of outbreak testing all staff results were negative and all residents were negative. However, this past weekend we had a vaccinated staff member having symptoms similar to COVID and later tested positive outside our facility.
All staff and residents will continue with at least 2 more weeks of outbreak testing. We remain closed to admissions. We do acknowledge that some visitors are necessary to resident well-being and continue with the following guidelines:
- One person should be designated for visitation.
- Visitation must be scheduled in advanced. Please call Cheri Clements in Social Services at 679-9319.
Out of an abundance of caution we ask that all visitors, despite vaccination status, wear a mask and eye protection (face shield) during the entirety of the visit.
The CDC suggests:
To maximize protection from COVID-19 (including the Delta variant) and prevent spreading it to others, fully vaccinated people should wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
At this time, all of New Hampshire has a substantial level of transmission.
As a reminder the Mobile Vaccination Clinic comes to the facility monthly and will be here on August 20th at 9:30 a.m., to sign up please contact Lisa Darling, RN at 679-9344.
We will continue to update as circumstances change. Phone, Facetime and Zoom remain visitation options.
Be well, be safe – Rockingham County Leadership Team
